# We’re 30% toward our $10K match. Can you help?

Last week, we kicked off our [$10,000 matching campaign](https://www.albanyscanner.com/2026/09/01/editors-desk/albany-scanner-10k-match-kickoff/) to Double Down on Albany News.

Already, **16 of you have stepped up** raising $3,000 toward our $10,000 match from a generous local donor.

That puts us at [295 Scanner members](https://www.albanyscanner.com/members-funders/) since we opened membership in December, all helping create a newsroom for a city that's gone without one for too long. **Can you help us get to 300 today?**
