Friends of Albany Parks is looking for volunteers to help with a garden landscaping project at Memorial Park on Sept. 26. Gloves, tools and all necessary equipment will be provided.

The program began in 2014, with volunteers dedicating more than 150 hours "to cleaning, beautifying, and planning improvements for Memorial, Terrace, Ocean View, and Creekside parks" since then.
