You'll be seeing our team around town more often now that the fundraiser is over. Above (far left, in black): Emilie Raguso at this week's Golden Gate Fields town hall. Bryan Marten

Thanks to 60 generous supporters, our fall fundraiser unlocked the full $10,000 match, raising more than $22,000 and welcoming 50 new members along the way.

We're so excited by the trust the community has already shown in Albany Scanner. One reader put it this way:

"News coverage of right where we live is so enriching and fills a huge void in our city. It makes it easier for residents to stay informed."

Now we can focus on the news, with ballots arriving next week and plenty to cover in Albany.

We're also rolling out monthly subscriptions soon, giving readers another easy way to support Albany news.

We now have 334 members supporting Albany Scanner. See who's helping make this work possible.

Thank you for your support. We're just getting started!
